I first started babysitting when I was 15/16. I babysat from 2012-2014 for a family who had two kids aged 5-8. The last year that I babysat for them, I also watched their friends' kids who were ages 3 and 9. Last summer I was a nanny for an 11 year old boy. My responsibilities while watching him included, taking him to extracurricular activities along with summer camp. We were very active between going to the park and doing different crafts. For the past two years I have also been working in the children's center at Washtenaw Community College. The age groups I worked with ranged from 18 months to 5 years of age. Some responsibilities consisted of, reading, supervision of indoor and outdoor play, occasional meal prep, aid in circle time, and getting the kids ready for nap.
