Over the past year and a half, I have been working full time as a nanny for a 2-year-old, and I also have 5 years of experience working in a daycare center with children ranging in age from 6 months to 10 years. With my strong understanding of child development and experience creating curriculum, I am well-equipped to provide quality care and education for children. In addition, I have a few years of paid experience as a cook, and I am willing to help with other daily tasks around the home, including light cleaning and organization. I am passionate about children and have 8 of them of my own, ranging in age from 7 to 17. Whether caring for my own children or those of others, I find that children bring an abundance of joy to my life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, art/creative projects, hiking, foraging, and swimming. As someone who has taught children both formally and informally, I find that teaching through play is a particularly rewarding experience.
