Hi. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and for considering me to care for your child/children. I know how difficult the task of finding reliable care can be. I also know what it means to be able to know that your child/children is/are safe and being well cared for. I am currently a Special Ed Teacher for the Anoka Hennepin School district. I work in a high needs setting for program and have experience with EBD,ASD,ADHD, DCD\, and more. I have 4 children of my own including a set of twins. Three of my children spent time in the NICU so I am familiar with the extra care that infants/ children may need. My daughter is currently a patient at Gillette's for scoliosis as well. I volunteer at school, for scouts, at church and occasionally at the NICU. Before I became a mother I received my teaching degree Read more for K-6th grade. I then taught preschool for several years. After having my children I managed an educational retail store and worked in a purchasing position. I have also cared for a teacher's children in my home for quite a few years . decided to get a Special Ed degree 5 years ago and have been teaching since. I am comfortable with pets. We have a dog, a gecko, and a chinchilla. I love to read, play, cook and do arts & craft projects with children.
