I have years of childcare experience ranging from numerous babysitting opportunities to long-term nanny positions. In total I have about five years of childcare experience. I am currently in doing my year of student teaching as a teachers assistant in a Montessori school for 3-6 year olds. After this year I will earn my teaching certificate in the Montessori method. My dream is to teach the Montessori method while providing a loving environment for children within the foster care system. I have a passion in encouraging children to discover the world around them. I love seeing them explore their surroundings as they begin to understand what their position is within society. I believe in keeping an attitude of positivity around every child, pointing out their strengths so they are able to develop them further and become confident in their own abilities.
