Mara is always on time and communicative. If we go too long without a date night, my kids are asking "When will we see Mara again??" Mara is the standard we measure others against when for discussing care for our children.

Children are such wonders!! It is such a gift to be able to help them grow up healthy and happy, discover the world, and learn how to navigate well in it. I have worked and volunteered with newborn through elementary age children from the time I was old enough to babysit until I had my own children. When with them discovery, play, and outdoor time is prioritized over screen time. I managed graduate medical education programs while raising my children. I miss time discovering the world and exploring with young children, so decided to seek opportunities to support other families in their journey while I am in graduate school. I love hiking, yoga, rock climbing, farmer's markets, trying new foods, cooking new recipes, reading, learning about other cultures and languages around the world, and exploring outside. Please ask if you have questions. My references are varied as I lost touch with families I nannied for while raising my children. I'm new to Sittercity so I'm still getting things set up and re-certifying in CPR.

Lindsey was a wonderful nanny for our two and three year-old children! She brought such a warm, positive energy into our home and quickly built a great rapport with both kids. Lindsey was patient, creative, and kept them engaged with fun activities every day. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend her to any family!

I am a semi-retired occupational therapist with 38 years of working with children in public schools. I have three grown children of my own and am married and have a dog too. I love caring for children and my focus is on helping them play and do the activities that are developmentally appropriate for them. I am looking for part time work to help out parents so they can get a night out, attend appointments, or get some extra help around the home. I also do well with children with special needs.

Being a nanny / Babysitter is one of the best jobs I have ever had. My background is in Early Childhood Special Education but am Preschool, Kindergarten to 6th grade certified. I have my Coaching license as well and am 3 quarters short of a Master's Degree in Psychology. I have been working as a nanny for 4 years and have really enjoyed it. I have a lot of experience beyond the 4 years as a nanny since I am 48 and have been working with children my entire life.

A little bit about me Hello, My name is Sara, and I'd love to share a little about myself. I have had the privilege of working as a Critical Care Registered Nurse for over 26 years. While becoming a nanny may seem like quite a career change, I have truly found joy in caring for children and supporting families in a more personal way. I was previously employed full-time by a wonderful family, caring for their 2-year-old toddler. In addition to providing attentive childcare, I assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping, daily walks, and planned outings that encourage learning, socialization, and fun. Although my professional title has not always been "nanny," I have extensive experience caring for children of various ages, from infants to older toddlers. My nursing background has provided me with exceptional skills in safety, patience, communication, and the ability to respond calmly and confidently in any situation. I take pride in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children can thrive while giving parents peace of mind knowing their little ones are receiving attentive and compassionate care. I especially enjoy helping children learn age-appropriate skills such as the ABCs, counting, colors, shapes, sight words, and early problem-solving through play, reading, and everyday activities. As both a caregiver and healthcare professional, I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and open communication with families. My goal is to support not only the children in my care but also the parents by helping make daily life run a little more smoothly. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to the opportunity to support another family and help their children learn, grow, and thrive. Warmly, Sara *Recommendation letter upon reaching out to me*
