Hey my name is Desi, I hope you're having a great day! To start I grew up in a family of 9, on top of that our family was a foster care family. So my parents taught us how important each child was no matter their background, and how much they needed the love and nurture of a family. That was the start of my passion for the care field. I've worked with such a range of ages from infants and on up, to children and adults with special needs. I'm currently working in the Duluth School District as a Paraprofessional. I enjoy giving kids tangible lessons, working on daily goals, and just having fun! I also think there is such an importance for kids being outdoors, and learning things about their surroundings.
