Hi! My name is Brooke Miller! I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a loving household surrounded by many children as my mom was a daycare provider and now elementary teacher. This is where my love for kids initially sparked! I began babysitting around the age of 14. Then, at 16, I began my first job at the local daycare center where I took care of children ages infant to 12. The following year, I transitioned into our public school where I worked with children ages pre-K to 6th grade. Due to my experience with children, I became the site lead for our schools after school program. During this time, I also spent many hours volunteering in a Kindergarten classroom. Within the school, I have gained many experiences working with children of all ages while focusing on their social/emotional & cognitive Read more needs. Not only have I worked and volunteered with many ages of children, I have daily experience helping out with my siblings. I am the oldest of four, being 15 years older than my youngest brother who is 4. During the last 4 years, I have helped take care of him and my sister who is 12. Outside of taking care of your child; I love to cook, have a clean driving record and can transport to activities or school, and enjoy creating new experiences for them to grow. I am currently attending Mankato State University pursuing a degree in K-6 education.
