Hello! My name is Sophie and I have been caring for children for 9+ years now! In these years, I have worked closely with families large and small, with children ranging in age from newborn (twins!) to preteen. For the majority of my experience, I have worked as an infant & younger toddler teacher, which included annual trainings in SUIDS (Sudden Unexplained Infant Death Syndrome) and AHT (Abusive Head Trauma) as well as continuing education. In the previous school year, I worked as an early preschool teacher for children with varying severity of hearing loss. I have loved working with children over the years and always learn so much from them, as they do from me. With children, I provide undivided care and attention. I love to read with kids, play outside, go for walks, go to the park, do crafts and activities and above all - have fun! While Read more caring for children, I am also comfortable with light housework, bottle/meal preparation, and morning/nighttime routines. Some hobbies of mine: cooking, reading, traveling, visiting with family and friends, listening to music, practicing Spanish, and DIY projects around the house.
