Hi families! My name is Amira Osman, and I am a dedicated, nurturing caregiver with a strong background in both education and child development. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, along with a Minnesota K–8 substitute teaching license. I have several years of experience working with children from ages newborn through eighth grade. Those experiences being - 2015-2020 Daycare teacher/float for newborn - 4 yrs old. - 2018-2021 Substitute teaching from - 2022-2025 Nanny/Babysit for a few different families - 2021-2025 Elementary school teacher teaching second-grade for 3 years, and as a mindfulness teacher for 2 years. In addition to classroom teaching, I created and taught a school-wide mindfulness program focused on helping children understand and regulate their emotions, build empathy, and develop healthy coping skills. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and truly cared for, Read more and I strive to create that kind of environment every day. Lastly, I am a very proud aunt to more than nine amazing children, ranging from newborn to 12 years old. Being present in their lives is something I truly cherish, and I happily spend much of my free time caring for them and supporting their growth. Aside from teaching, I would say the role of an aunt has definitely helped shape who I am, strengthening my patience, reliability, and adaptability. Through the joy, chaos, and unpredictability that comes with caring for children, I’ve learned how to remain calm, organized, and deeply attentive, always leading with love and understanding. With my background, and working closely with families, I’ve learned that it truly takes a village, and the right help can make all the difference. My goal as a nanny or babysitter is to support each child’s emotional, social, and developmental growth while making learning and daily routines fun, engaging, and meaningful. I am here to provide support in any way possible to try and make life a little easier for both the parents and children. I hope to speak soon!
