I work full-time at a pediatric specialty clinic and have over two years of experience working with children of all ages. What I enjoy most about my job is utilizing my kindness, compassion, and patience to create a less intimidating experience. My passion for working with youth and being involved with sports has also led me to become an active volunteer within the Special Olympics Minnesota community. With Special Olympics, I serve as an event manager for various sports competitions and support smaller events. One of my favorite experiences is the Young Athletes program, and I have personally led 5+ of these sports-play programs. Additionally, I have served as a camp counselor for the past two summers, and this has been another great opportunity to help adolescents have new experiences, create memories, and spend time outdoors. Outside work and volunteering, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, playing sports, creating art, and Read more listening to music. I love animals! I grew up around dogs, and I have two cats named Mochi and Plum and a leopard gecko called Treecko. I am looking to transition to a regular nannying position that starts in January. I hope to stay in this role throughout the spring until I return to school for my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies (~June-July).
