Hello my name is Bethany. Ever since I was 10 I have been working with infants and children to create a calm, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. I love caring for children and teaching them, as they teach me as well. When I was in high school I became a Nursing Assistant and worked with the elderly in their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living homes. I found this work to be very rewarding but also very exhausting. After being a Nursing Assistant for about 5 years I decided to care for children again. I have experience working with children all ages and multiple children, including twins. I provide a calm, pleasant, and age appropriate environment when I'm working with children. For newborns I provide language stimulation, sleep, visual stimulation, reading, singing/music, lots of attention and affection, and exploration(if age appropriate). For toddlers and older children I will enhance their Read more environment through mental activities such as games, puzzles, mathematical games, etc. I will provide a loving environment for them to learn and grow. I believe if you have an active body, you will also have an active mind. I love taking the children outside to parks, pools, for nature walks, to play basketball and so on. I'm always outside when it is nice out. I love taking the children to the library, concerts, museums, and anything fun for kids to do. A healthy happy child is also a balanced child. So activities will be balanced as well as a balanced nutritional diet. I'm looking for the perfect family so I can become part of that family.
