Hello, my name is Gloria Buhler and I have been babysitting a few children for at least 4 or 5 years. When I am babysitting children, I usually let them play outside, come in and eat their meal. After that I let them do something that interests them. When it gets late in the evening, I will let them watch a movie they all agree to watch. Every once in awhile, I let the children sleep in the living room if they are watching a movie as long as it is okay with the parent(s). I sometimes stay overnight to watch the children if the parent(s) are coming home late like around eleven or later. In the past, I have babysat 3 children at once. Sometimes it is difficult to babysit them because they argue a lot, but I know how to handle the situation because I usually ask what Read more the problem is and figure out a way to resolve the issue. I make sure the children are picking up after themselves because I know in the future, they are going to have to do that. So it doesn't hurt to start early when they are young. Sometimes, I will pick up after their mess if the children are asleep so that way the children do have to do that when they wake up. I make sure the children are being respectful to their peers because I don’t want them to be disrespectful and then getting into trouble with someone.
