Hello! My name is Elise and I am an experienced Environmental Educator and Nanny/Babysitter. I have diverse experience and resources for working with kids in educational and outdoor recreation settings, and love to create fun learning experiences for all of the children I work with! Most recently I worked as a Crew Leader with a local Nature Center, where I helped to lead summer outdoor education programs and activities for preschoolers and elementary schoolers. I also led activities in their learning garden for families and children such as; harvesting ingredients to make our own food, interactive teaching about compost, and planting events. I have also worked as a Preschool teacher where I trained to be the lead teacher of my classroom. I worked to develop curriculum and activities for my classroom. I designed a learning garden for the school, as well as working with my co-teacher to re-design and add Read more greenspace and sensory opportunities to our playground. In order to learn how best to do this I attended continuing education programs that focused on outdoor education. I use Project Learning Tree and Grow Wild curriculum in my classroom.
