Hi! My name is Maddy and I just graduated from the University of Minnesota in elementary education. I am currently attending the Master and Licensure program at the U to get my teaching license. Last year I nannied for a family with two children (8 and 10). I was responsible for helping the girls with homework, driving them to activities, and doing some meal prep and clean-up. I also nannied 3 summers ago for a family with three children (8, 10, 13) in Rochester. Because of student teaching I was unfortunately unable to make full-time nannying fit into my schedule. However, I'm interested in finding a family to babysit once in awhile. This past summer I worked as a camp counselor at a Nature Center with 3rd and 4th graders, it was awesome! As an education major I have spent 3 semesters in a classroom (kindergarten and 5th) but also Read more have experience in a 2nd grade classroom. Throughout high school I was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons. I still love swimming, am still certified and am comfortable with kids in the pool. I am also CPR certified and have my own car with a clean driving record. I love being active through sports and crafts, but also love curling up with a good book. I am comfortable with pets and love dogs, as my family has a 1 and a half year old yellow lab! I look forward from hearing from you!
