I have been taking care of children my whole life. Whether it was assisting my parents in the Church nursery/Sunday school when I was in elementary school, babysitting my sibling (I was 7 and 9 years older than them) and other children while growing up to now, being the Easter Bunny's "Special helper" (both volunteering and working), and working in schools doing various things (Childcare Assistant, Reading Corps. Tutor, Para). I have loved children all my life and have loved taking care of them. I care very deeply about their safety and personal growth and have helped many children grow and succeed in a large variety of ways. I have taken classes to help with emotional/mental health and I'm a very caring and compassionate person. I take my time to get to know children (get to know their interest/hobbies/etc.), and understand their feelings. I also do my best to teach Read more them and learn from them. I do my best to model good behavior. I am polite, respectful, follow the rules, clean up after myself, do my best in everything I do, and try to find the best solution to every problem. I also have planned activities to do for children many times for the jobs that I have had over the years. From lesson plans to fun projects that help develop skills. Over my many years of experience, I have had many different types of trainings (ENVoY, First Aid, Diversity, etc.), have taken classes and have a Nanny Certification.
