Hello, I'm Robin! Working with kids isn't just a job for me—it's my passion. I started babysitting some families in my neighborhood when I was 13 and I haven't stopped. During high school, I taught swim lessons to children for four years, fostering water safety and confidence. In 2018, I traveled to Bali and Ecuador, where I spent a lot of time helping kids who were facing tough situations. I was part of a volunteer program that offered free childcare to families who needed to bring their kids to work at markets. These children weren't going to school, so we taught them things like counting and the alphabet to give them a good start. It was really a really rewarding and eye-opening experience. I've had the privilege of being a live-in nanny in both Australia and Seattle, caring for a range of ages from 1 to 7 years old. I pursued an elementary education major for two years at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point before venturing out to gain world experience through travel. Now, I'm back in Minneapolis, combining my love for art and psychology as I work toward becoming an art therapist. I relish the opportunity to spark creativity in kids through engaging art projects. The past year has been spent nurturing a set of twins, but they are starting preschool this fall so I am looking for a new job! I look forward to hearing from you!
