What I enjoy most about being a sitter is being that trusted person parents can rely on to care for their child. I understand how stressful and nerve-wracking it can be to find someone you trust to care for your little one, and I love being that reliable support. I am passionate about working with kids, learning about their interests, and just having fun with them while ensuring they are well taken care of. With over eight years of hands-on experience, I have helped care for my twin siblings and have babysat for many families through different platforms. I also have six years of experience working as a direct care support professional, where I've gained valuable skills and insights into the different needs of children. I bring a wide range of skills to the table, including adaptability, cooking, cleaning, problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. I am always eager to learn and adjust to any special skills or needs required to provide the best care possible.

I became a certified babysitter for the first time when I was 11. I have always loved children, and as an adult I began working with preschool aged children professionally 10 years ago, when I worked in an infant room at a kindercare while earning a certificate of Montessori Education. Ever since I have worked in preschools, day care centers, nannied and babysat children, from ages 0-10. I love observing each child's special interests and following these to help them learn more about the world. I have experience with twins and potty-training. My name is Isabel Halonen and I am 20 years old. I currently work as a Part-time nanny (a couple of days in the week.) I have a ton of experience working with kiddos in all different types of environments including daycares, schools, babysitting, and nannying. I also am an auntie to 7 nieces and nephews! I first started on sitter city in 2008. It did not take long to meet and care for the children of several families. Many of the relationships were long term so I became inactive on the site. My last family moved just before Covid took hold. I had just updated my child infant CPR and first aid as I intended to start looking again. That didn’t happen because of Covid so I’m starting again now. I have been babysitting for 5+ years and am CPR and first aid certified. I started work at a Montessori school in 2019, staying with the company for 5+ years! I started as a float getting experience in all of the classrooms(infant, toddler, preschool) but eventually found myself stationed in the toddler room. After I few years I worked my way up to the lead teacher of the toddler room and was there for about 2 years.
