I am a dedicated and experienced nanny with 10 years of paid childcare experience. My passion for working with children began at the age of 13 when I started babysitting for two young girls in my hometown. What began as an occasional babysitter, it quickly grew into a more meaningful, long-term position that lasted five years. During that time, I formed a close bond with the family and developed a deep appreciation for the positive impact a caring caregiver can have on a child’s life. After high school, I took on a summer nanny position before going off to college. I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau- Claire for the first two years and continued my education online through the University of Phoenix. I cared for a four-month old baby girl, handling all aspects of her daily care, including diapering, bottle feeding, tummy time, naps, walks and age appropriate stimulation and play. For the past two plus years, I’ve had the pleasure of nannying for two wonderful girls, currently age nine and twelve. In this role, I manage a wide range of responsibilities, including: • School transportation • Homework assistance • Meal planning, preparation, and packing lunches • Preparing and serving nutritious dinners • Kids laundry, cleaning/tidying up family spaces, dishes and organizing children’s spaces • Change the girls bedding • Switch winter clothes to summer clothes • Go through the girls clothes to determine what they’ve outgrown • Driving to extracurricular activities • Scheduling and driving to appointments • Set up play dates • Occasional overnights • Assist with packing and unpacking when the family goes on trips I am genuinely passionate about supporting children through their formative years. I first started on sitter city in 2008. It did not take long to meet and care for the children of several families. Many of the relationships were long term so I became inactive on the site. My last family moved just before Covid took hold. I had just updated my child infant CPR and first aid as I intended to start looking again. That didn’t happen because of Covid so I’m starting again now. I did raise 6 children of my own, worked as a nanny for 10 years and have been actively babysitting for Sittercity families for 10 years.
