I have been raised on a family farm in Pequot Lakes, MN with my three siblings and parents. I believe that life is about hard work, being kind and following your dreams. I have been active in many activities including sports, 4-H, volunteering, etc... I often find myself in a leadership position because of my supportive and teaching personality. I have faced a few health issues and continue to receive care for hip dysplasia (where the socket is to shallow for your hip bone). I have had multiple surgeries, suffered from not being able to do activities and being in a lot of pain. I have and will likely continue to receive Physical therapy to help my hips. Despite my health issues, I believe that I am fortunate to have good health, a supportive and loving family, and the opportunities and freedoms available to me in this nation. I have Read more tried to not let my illness or challenges define me, but rather work even harder to do my best and make sure that I make a difference in the world. I want a career in the in Physical Therapy so that I am able to help people and make those who face some of the same illnesses that I do more comfortable and encourage them to enjoy life to the fullest. I want to always be kind, understanding and to help make positive changes in not only others health, but in their personal lives as well.
