Hello, my name is Halie. I'm 19 years old and currently studying sonography at RCTC! I grew up in the little town of Elgin and recently relocated to Rochester. Hiking, swimming, camping, you name it, I enjoy being outside. I'm a laid-back, empathetic person that tries to brighten people's days, even if it's only the slightest. Ive had lots of experience with child care growing up watching all of my cousins from a young age and also working in a daycare center. Working in a daycare facility taught me a lot of things, one of which was that I couldn't sit down with each child and get to know them. It was difficult to form bonds with all of the children because there were so many. I'm hoping that this work will allow me to get to know each child and create a positive relationship with them. Even small things can have a big impact on a person, and the bonds you can form are what I enjoy most about working in a nursing home. Everyone is unique; no two people are alike. You must be able to adapt your approach to each individual and make them feel at ease. I want to be able to establish these connections and make a difference in someone's life, even if it's only a small one for your child. Making memories that will last a lifetime, whether it's going swimming, visiting the zoo, or whatever it is, I want to be that person for them. I'm here to assist you with everything you may need, and I hope to have the opportunity to make a positive difference in your child's life!
