Meet Abigail

• Comfortable with pets

I am the third of six children and have helped with the raising of my younger brothers, who are 8-10 years younger than me, from the time I was fairly young. In addition, I have been babysitting for multiple people with varying number of children and ages since I was about 13-years-old. I have always loved babysitting children: playing with them and reading to/with them. I do have experience in caring for infants: I do not mind changing diapers, feeding bottles, walking around with fussy infants, in fact, I enjoy it! (as much as diaper changing can be enjoyed anyway!) I am comfortable in almost any situation and I truly just enjoy playing outside and doing crafts with children, helping them learn and develop, and helping give them the love and attention they need so much of while growing up. I plan on pursuing a nursing degree after taking a Read more year off to begin paying off my student loans. Although I have never had any official training, I am very knowledgable about First Aid care, since my mother is a nurse. Also, I do not yet have my CPR certification but I plan on getting it soon. I do not have my own car, but I am hoping to look into getting one after I come home after graduation. Additionally, I do have a lot of experience with allergies: my youngest brother was allergic to dairy, tree nuts, and a variety of other food groups from the time he was born until very recently.
