Hi, my name is Sarah! I'm very passionate about caring for kids and guiding them to help them grow into their authentic selves! I taught through Music Together for a couple years before the pandemic happened. I have a strong passion for singing and dancing and I love helping kids find their rhythm. I dance with hula hoops and silk fans and I teach kids how to hula hoop and dance too! I have a nine year old daughter named Kierra and I have a seven year old son named A.J. A.J. has autism and I got him early intervention when he was 3 years old. For years I went to day treatment with him, speech, and occupational therapy. All of our hard work has paid off - A.J. is in school with his peers now and just has someone who comes in to help him with support a few Read more times throughout the week. My son being diagnosed with autism has helped me see the world in many different perspectives. It has taught me to have incredible patience with myself and everyone around me, and that every kid learns at their own pace! I'm so proud of both of my kids! I was a stay at home mom with my kids for eight years. I always took them to the park, library story time, the zoo, music together and any kids events I could find! I love teaching kids through real life experiences! I love helping everyone around me thrive! I currently work at a daycare taking care of 4 babies at once. The babies and I have really connected - they love when I sing and dance with them, but I would love to be able to put more of my energy into one or two kids, take them on all kinds of fun adventures, and help them grow over a longer period of time than what the daycare offers.
