There is something special about being able to laugh together as humans between all ages. I have always loved fostering light-hearted relationships with kids. You can do this through listening, observing, and engaging with each child's unique qualities, needs, responses, and input from their caregivers. From small tasks that add up to lengthier activities, I believe that by taking some stress off of the household, it can help strengthen the whole family's bonds and dynamics! In long-term positions such as nannying, I think that it's important to encourage children to learn independence by helping them form healthy long term habits through playful encouragement. - Relevant experience: Babysitting a baby girl from 1-3 years old and Personal Care Assistant for a young adult with Borderline Personality Disorder. -Schoolwork: Some kids need extra help or may learn differently which can be difficult to sit down and take time to address.
