I live in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota and I am currently a high school student enrolled at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. I plan on going to college at Saint Cloud State University and study to become a middle school science teacher, so I will be able to be a regular sitter. I have little babysitting experience, but I am eager to begin. While enrolled at SRRHS, I have taken a child development class, which I feel would help me tremendously in taking care of children. I am also a part of my school's LINK Crew* and P4T (Project 4 Teens) programs. LINK Crew* is a program implemented to help students transition smoothly into high school. P4T* is a group of high school students that talk to younger students about making healthy decisions in high school. Along with those groups, I am also a part of my school's Concert Choir and Robotics Read more Team (I have robotics practice during weekdays from 3:30-5:30). The most babysitting experience I've had was taking care of my two younger siblings. I love working with children because they have a fantastic imagination. They help me view life in a different perspective and they help me learn to enjoy the little things in life. The reason I wanted to start babysitting is because I've always loved working with children and I feel like it would be valuable to my future due to the fact that I plan on working with children for the rest of my life.
