Hello! My name is Ash and I have always found immense joy in spending time with children of all ages and serving as a trustworthy role model. I have 13 younger cousins and 2 younger siblings, so I am more than used to being surrounded by a bunch of kids! I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 12 years old. I have cared for up to 4 children at a time with a range of ages from 6 months to 12 years old. I have babysat for several hours at a time up to as much as an entire weekend with three children under the age of 10. Not only do I take amazing care of children, but I have experience in driving to and from sports/school, cooking and doing the dishes, cleaning up the house and doing laundry, tutoring for school, bathing and bedtime routines, and even taking care of pets. When I was 12 years old, my little brother and best friend was born. I am always referred to as his "second mom" because of our close bond and my mother-like instincts. He is my entire world and he is the reason I have been able to continue cultivating my caregiving skills throughout the years. I have taught him kindness, discipline, self-love, responsibility, creativity, and so much more. Along with my caretaking qualifications, I have a very involved history with my community which showcases my passion for charity and giving back to others. I have also always been, what my parents like to call, an academic weapon. After graduating high school with Honors and several honorable award and accomplishments, I am now a student at the University of Miami studying Political Science and Public Administration with a minor in Psychology. I was a competitive swimmer for 9 years and I also used to teach swim lessons, so I would be more than comfortable going swimming as a fun activity! I am currently in the process of getting my CPR and First Aid certifications as well. Lastly, if I had to use three words to describe my personality, they would be Organized, Passionate, and Intelligent!

I am a current college student getting a degree in early childhood education. I have extensive experience working with children, along side other things such as cleaning and pet care. I began babysitting in middle school, and I have continued to babysit to this day. In high school I worked as a lifeguard where I also taught swimming lessons for all ages. Through this, I earned my Red Cross first aid and CPR certification. Alongside lifeguarding, I have also tutored in the elementary school, taught ages 2-12 at my dance studio, and I now volunteer in the childcare center at my church. I love to stay active and have fun whether that be playing outside, going for walks, coloring, or any activity that keeps the kids busy. I can also provide meals, diaper changes, transportation, and assist with homework and other simple tasks as needed. My patience and passion for children makes me a great fit for your family and your kiddos!

I love babysitting because it gives me the chance to connect with kids and watch them grow and learn. It’s so rewarding to see their smiles and know that I’m helping keep them safe and happy.
