When I was 13, I took the safe-sitter course at St Francis hospital and since then have done random babysitting jobs and became a nanny. My senior year of high school, I took the classes required and graduated top of my (childcare) class with dual credit from the local college, receiving my associates in Child Development (CDA) as well as my high school diploma. Getting my CDA required me to shadow a preschool classroom for a whole school year, like a block student. I created lesson plans, instructed the classroom, created games and played with the kids at recess, had an absolute blast, etc. After I graduated, I went to teach at Small World Preschool. I taught there for two years before leaving due to other jobs. I have fantastic experience with kids as well as awesome references who would be happy to share my skills and qualifications with you!
