Alyssa babysat our kids (11 and 8) for date nights (and cats for week-long vacations) 8-10 times over the past two years. Our kids absolutely loved Alyssa. She's not the type of babysitter who puts her feet up on the couch, buries her nose in her phone, and ignores the kids (although we've had several other babysitters like that). Alyssa is an active babysitter -- constantly playing games with the kids (if that's what they want), cooking food (if that's required), etc. Our son (8), who tends to be very shy, was always excited to hear that Alyssa would be babysitting. He would show her all of his new toys and costumes and have her read to him from his newest books. Of all of our babysitters, Alyssa was definitely our kids' favorite so far!
