I became a caregiver because I absolutely adore children. I currently am working at the YMCA in Hannibal, MO in the nursery. I'am looking to leave the YMCA for something with more hours and that is everyday (occasionally on weekends). I have worked there for 4 years, we teach the children motor skills, we interact with them, we do learning activities, and we teach them everything as in their ABC's, nursery songs/rhymes, numbers, and things they need to know for school. I just renewed my CPR, first-aid, and oxygen certification this year (2015). I also babysit some of the children from the nursery on the side on occasion.
