Hello! My name is Laura, I am 27 years old, and I would consider myself somewhat of a professional when it comes to childcare. What makes me a great babysitter is the fact that I am responsible, dependable, intelligent, and absolutely adore being around children. I worked my way through college with a job as a childcare assistant at Edna A. Hill Child Development Center located on the University of Kansas campus. During this time, I helped take care of (and engage!) a group of diverse children ranging from ages 2 - 4. I was also actively involved in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program throughout college. After receiving an undergraduate degree in biology, I obtained a masters degree in secondary education. I then spent a few months working as a paraprofessional to two high school students with autism, before accepting a job to teach middle school earth and Read more space science. The following year I moved up to high school to teach biology I and II. I have always known that I wanted to work with children, and so am confident that I can provide a great service for you and your loved ones.
