Hi! I'm an enthusiastic, active nanny with 6 years of nannying experience and over 15 years of working with children as a babysitter, Big Sister volunteer, Mother's Refuge volunteer, social worker, preschool teacher and super nanny! I lean heavily towards RIE and Montessori methods but also believe in following the kids' lead and adapting to each family's unique needs. I love encouraging curiosity and independence through child-led activities, crafts, independent play, nature walks, and lots and lots of reading. Safety is always my primary concern so I am CPR & first aid certified and fully vaccinated. I'm experienced with kids aged 6 weeks-16 years and as a former social worker, I am also experienced and comfortable with most special needs. I am currently looking for part-time (under 30 hours) or occasional/date-night work but can be very flexible for the right family!
