High school graduate, starting college in the fall to pursue a career in science education. Looking for a way to expand upon the knowledge gained in intro to teaching and child development courses and gain more experience with childcare before heading to school. As a part of the intro-to-teaching class I completed over 150 field experience hours in a 6th grade classroom and have volunteered with a local MOPS (mother’s of preschoolers) group, as well as worked in summer programs with 4th & 5th graders.
