Hi! I'm a college student at the University of Kansas, and I currently study biochemistry and engineering. I have been babysitting since high school, and I valued that time more than anything. During that time, I was tasked with preparing meals for the children, teaching them new vocabulary, and of course keeping them entertained. My love for science has been with me for a long time, so I usually try to incorporate a simple science lesson with a safe experiment to keep kids wondering about the world around them. I got to continue doing what I love when I spent this last summer working as a camp instructor for Mad Science, where I would spend 8 hours a day doing nothing but experiments with kids anywhere from the ages of 7-15.
