I was a nanny for a family of two children (ages 6 & 9) for a summer and had so much fun! I was with them from 8-5 p.m. I cooked for them and took them to places such as the pool and movies! I have babysat different families on other occasions and have a great deal of experience with children. For two summers, I worked at a program through my community mental health Center. In this program, I was one of the group leaders responsible for watching our group of 6-10 children. I dealt one on one with a third-grader and learned a great deal about caring for children through this program along with helping them to have a fun and exciting summer! I have also worked for a daycare/preschool which involved caring for children ages 5 months- 5 yrs. I am an elementary education major so working with Read more children is my passion. I am now a fourth grade teacher, working in the Kansas City, Kansas school district. This is my second year as a teacher, so I have built up a variety of skills that help me to be a wonderful babysitter! I am looking for some extra work outside of my weekly teaching and would love to chat more.
