My entire life has been centered around caring for children! I grew up in Indiana as the oldest of four children in a single-parent household. I spent most of my childhood helping to care for my three younger siblings, two are on the autism spectrum. As a teenager, I babysat many neighborhood children. I then received my bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Human Development. While I was working on my degree, I worked as a substitute teacher where I gained valuable knowledge and further improved my skills with children. Over the summers I worked as a caretaker for a child on the autism spectrum, and as a reading teaching for students ages 4-18. Currently, I am working toward my graduate degree in school psychology at UConn.
