I am a charismatic, kind, and safety-oriented childcare worker who loves connecting with children and seeing what makes them tick. I am currently working in a behavior analysis clinic where I work one-on-one with autistic youth (4yrs-9yrs). I love this work but am looking to get back into nannying. I have nannied for families with littles (1yr-4yrs) for the most part, but feel comfortable around and have experience with all ages! I value safety and educational enrichment above all else, I try to minimize screen time when watching children. I love exposing children to new activities and expanding their horizons, whether that be outdoors, finding museums, exploring libraries, swimming (I am a certified lifeguard with years of swim lesson instruction under my belt), cooking/baking, or educational games. I implement boundaries with kids in a clear and compassionate manner, and am happy to have conversations with kids around these boundaries (terminating Read more unsafe, inappropriate, or unkind behaviors). I like having discussions with parents around their approach and philosophy toward childcare/parenting to make sure I am representing their values properly when working with their kids. I take a lot of pride in my work with children, it brings me so much joy to be a childcare provider. I like to read, work out, go on walks, hang with my cats, find events with live music, make tasty food, and see my friends/family in my free time. I am comfortable working with children that have disabilities, given I am provided background information and specific instructions for their needs.
