Hi there! My name is Cindy and I am actively looking to care for preferrably 1-3 other toddlers around the age of 2-4 . Ideally I'd like to care for them in my home along with my just turned 2 year old daughter! A little about me... I am 39 years old, married, and a Mom to two littles who we adore and are our entire world! I have worked professionally in childcare as teacher from infant to Pre-K since 2006, I can email interested family my resume if you have already read this far! I love education as it has been my life's passion. I was told early on in my adult life that I wouldn't be able to have children so my 2 littles are a huge blessing to us. I have worked in childcare on the teacher and management side and have enjoyed every chaotic aspect. With my son entering Kindergarten this August and us relocating to Independence I am venturing into opening part of our home into a small daycare during the week. I am well versed in state licensing standards in Missouri, as well as having experience in all the curriculum that have been best practices for this age group including but not limited too, Montessori, reggio-emila, project work,Ounce Scale, ASQ, etc. As I am just starting out at home I realize this will be a process that is everchanging! I am primarily looking for a couple of families who are also in search of a care provider that has educational experience, provides a structured schedule, open ended art and play based activities, activities that are challenging and age appropriate, and a nurturing, warm, engaging, and trustworthy experienced provide, then we should talk!
