Hello! My name is Kay, and this is my life in a nutshell... When I was younger I had such a calling towards children. I knew without a doubt that's what I wanted to do in life. Everyday, when my dad dropped me off at school he would always say as I was walking to my class. Make a difference. It's something that always stuck with me growing up. It was a God thing for sure, but one of the best jobs I've ever had was mentoring kids. It was an after-school program for kids from first grade, all the way up to High School. And, I had the privilege being able to come alongside them and to grow and learn from them. I did that job for a little over 3 years. I had the same kids for all those years. As soon as I got that job, I Read more knew in that moment it was my calling. Working with kids is my pride and joy. Coming by them and encouraging them, knowing they have one confidant in their life, and lifting their spirts always, is such an incredible experience. The funny thing is you think your making a difference in their life, but they're actually the ones making a difference in yours. I'm a very compassionate, kindhearted person. I love being outdoors. One of my favorite things to do is bake. You can never bake enough. I love reading. You can be anything you want to be when you read. "You're capable and brave and significant.
