I love being a babysitter because it gives me the chance to make a real difference in a child’s life. I find so much joy in creating a safe, nurturing space where kids feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. Helping children grow, feel heard, and build confidence—especially those who need a little extra patience—is something I truly care about. I’ve been babysitting since middle school for family, friends, and neighbors, and I’ve worked with children of all ages. I also volunteered with children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental differences, which taught me how to be flexible, calm, and attentive to individual needs. A unique part of my care is that I bring my dog with me to work. She’s very gentle, child-friendly, and used to being around little ones.
