I have grown up with a mother who is a nanny, so I have been around this type of work since I was little. I have helped my mother throughout the years with the many children she has watched. I have had a few of my own babysitting jobs. I have spent the last six years occasionally caring for my nephews, who are now 4 and 6 years old. My older sister is a babysitter/nanny as well, and I have often helped her. I love being around children, and I am not a typical teen who would just sit on the couch and watch TV while your children do who-knows-what. I love being interactive with the children. Doing various activities, such as reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing outside, etc.
