I really enjoy spending time with children. For me, babysitting is not just a "job". I think building a relationship with the child(ren) even if it's just short-term is important. A little bit more about me: I used to work at a day care and I have also worked as a substitute teacher so I have experience working with children of all ages. I graduated from the University of Houston and am currently working on attaining a second degree. I am a social worker at a non profit agency and at this time I am also volunteering as a life transition coach for an organization that works with foster youth. Nelly is a wonderful, smart and caring person! Communication and logistics arrangement were easy, she arrived super punctual to our hotel, and the full experience was amazing. She got to meet our baby awake (it was not planned, but we had *one of those days*...), and she interacted wonderfully with our kid (e.g. speaking Spanish, plying with him, etc.) I really liked how quickly she learned and noticed the things that my baby likes or prefers; it says a lot about how sensitive she is and her experience as a caregiver. Would absolutely love to work with her again!
