I have 5 years of professional caregiving experience. I have mainly worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities. I used to work for the Wisconsin Early Autism Project using Applied Behavior Analysis, or "play therapy", to help children with autism develop life skills. I currently use the same behaviour modification techniques to train service dogs. I'm good at fostering a fun, educational environment. I am a very active and engaged babysitter. I like to play games and make art. I use every opportunity to help children learn something new. I can help with homework and light housekeeping. I have experience with multiples and all ages. I am CPR and first aid certified. I will provide my resume upon request.

I am pleased to recommend Cameron Verde for the position of babysitter or nanny. Cameron brings over six years of experience in caregiving, with a strong background supporting individuals from infancy to late adulthood. His work history reflects a deep commitment to compassionate, client-focused care and a remarkable ability to adapt to the needs of children and adults with varying abilities. In his current role as our sitter, Cameron watches my twin 1-year-olds twice a week. He's been with us since they were about 10 months old. After school hours, holidays, and date nights, he also watches our 3-, 4-, and 10-year-old. Cameron is great with all the ages/kids. He is a kind soul and a quick learner. I think one of my dogs even likes him more than he likes me now! Cameron has demonstrated a talent for building trusting relationships with our family, engages our children in developmentally appropriate activities, and maintains open and effective communication with us as parents and his employer. His previous experience as a Behavior Technician and Group Home Staff member highlights his skill in behavior management, medication administration, and documentation—critical competencies for ensuring the safety and well-being of children. Cameron’s qualifications are further supported by his Nursing Assistant Technical Diploma and certifications in CPR and First Aid. His additional skills in American Sign Language, autism support, and clinical documentation make him especially well-suited for families seeking a caregiver with both empathy and expertise. Cameron’s volunteer work also speaks to his community-mindedness and ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care for others make him a standout candidate for any family seeking a reliable and nurturing caregiver. I confidently recommend Cameron Verde for any childcare role and believe he would be a valuable asset to any household.

Cameron connected well with my kid and improvised activities for imaginative and creative play (e.g. paper airplanes, balloon art). He is good with big dogs; even though ours barks a lot he was able to manage him as well. He is reliable and easy going and he is my kid's favorite babysitter!

Cameron was a great communicator and arrived promptly, which I appreciated very much! He was very accommodating and adhered to the rules and guidelines I set for my child for the evening. I would ask Cameron to sit again.
