My most recently I was a live in nanny for an older woman from 2015-2018. My responsibilities included preparing and performing sterilized procedures for wound care, transportation for all doctors appointments several times monthly, liaised between client and physicians to ensure clients comprehension of treatment plan, monitored progress and documented any status changes according as well as keeping a daily log of all tasks and interactions, assisted in personal hygiene due to incontinence/continence, immobility, memory loss of how to utilize such basic tasks due to beingbed ridden at times, organized, scheduled and handled all bills payment on time, administered all needed medications as prescribed by doctor, cleaned house, laundry, shopping,errands and cooked all meals, Read more most of all and important to me while client wasn’t able to communicate, I spent a lot of time reading aloud and providing comfort, compassion, although most of the day was regimented, what meant most to me was providing client personal care from the heart, letting her know I was there, someone who truly cared and that she wasn’t alone, that she was special, and loved.
