I grew up in a big family so I started babysitting at a young age. Naturally, I grew to love kids and I started babysitting every chance I got. In high school, I decided I wanted to be a teacher and thanks to my school's excellent child development program I got the opportunity to teach preschool for a semester and student teach in kindergarten for another semester and I absolutely loved it. I have a lot of background knowledge on child development and education and I am also Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified. I am currently a junior at Missouri State University majoring in Nursing and minoring in Child and Family Development (I changed my major from education because I decided I wanted to help kids in the hospital setting).
