Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile :) I've been in the childcare business since I was about eight, looking after groups of kiddos that weren't even that much younger than me... yet I was responsible for all of them. Can you tell I'm the oldest? Anyways, my name's Kristina, a 23-year-old post-grad living and breathing the Chicagoan dream, or at least trying to. A little bit about me: I recently graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science with a certificate in Nutrition. I received my certification as a professional nanny when I was eighteen, and since then I have worked as a nanny and personal tutor for three families. I like to think that I'm on the same energy level as these kids, but my back is already starting to crack and sometimes an afternoon nap is just too tempting to resist... Kidding, kidding! Working with them has always been something that I've enjoyed, and the feeling is very familiar almost second nature. I love their simple-mindedness and fervent optimism; in my opinion, they are natural entertainment, which translates to - I will never need a streaming subscription. In all transparency, I value a trustworthy, respectful, dependable, and amicable relationship with parents. You guys are my mentors when helping me out with your young ones, and I will do my utmost best to play your part when you can't be with them. In terms of the kids, those qualities still apply, but they will definitely learn some dead-pan humor if you trust them with me (it will come in handy when they're in high-school I promise). Some other notes about me and my work: - I'm happy to clean, do chores. I am organized. - When the weather is nice, I love to spend as much time as I can outside with the kids (by your approval). - I love to cook and bake. I am a BIG foodie. - I encourage creative thinking with art and crafty projects! OR having the kids help me with chores/tasks.
