Hi! My name is Emmy and for as long as I can remember, helping, caring and supporting kids has been my passion!! I have a strong background in children’s education, completing an internship at a preschool + early learning development center, I serve in the children’s ministry of my church, and I have years of experience with babysitting. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We booked Emilia to babysit during a family reunion and confirmed details in advance. The last communication we received was on Monday when I sent the address, which she acknowledged. On the day of the job, I texted her in the morning to confirm and received no response. My husband and I both called and texted multiple times throughout the day, but she never replied and never showed up. Because she did not arrive and provided no communication, I had to miss a special adult dinner at our family reunion to stay home with our children. We had also paid for a chef-prepared dinner that had been ordered for her in advance. I understand that emergencies happen, but a complete lack of communication before, during, and after the scheduled job made this an extremely stressful situation. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend her for families who need a reliable sitter.
