Hello, My name is Amanda. I am 26 with a degree from Missouri State University in Marketing .. although I have no children of my own, I am great with kiddos! In college I would teach international children (9yr old) and assist with programs to help teach them English. I also would volunteer at big brothers big sisters and enjoy outdoor activities and just be a positive role model for those who were not raised to have much guidance. (Teens). During the summer here in St. Charles, I would volunteer at the Crisis Nursery Center where I helped prepare meals, clean up children, assist with homework and play activities as needed (new born - preteen) Personally, I have 6 niece and nephews, from soon new born (June 7th!!!) to age 9. I am the fun aunt as I truly enjoy playing games and activities, crafts, and have the energy to Read more be active outdoors..as well as be a positive role model. I teach Ignite (week day Bible study) at St. John's Church of Christ in New Melle Missouri (hometown) for first and second graders. (September-May) When I lived in Springfield Missouri, I worked for Cox Health in the respiratory department and traveled to the NICU as needed teaching parents how to work apnea monitors for their children to take then home, as well as follow up with visitations to assure safety. Mainly worked with CPAP, BIPAP machines and pulse Oximeters. (Two years ago) CPR certification has expired, as I am no longer in that field of work but if I need to, I would be willing to take again for your piece of mind. About 2 years ago I decided to move back to this area. Just purchased a home in Wentzville and would prefer to stay in this area BUT this is negotiable upon pay, travel and time. I am a great cook, can cook dairy free, GF, vegan and Paleo ... I had stomach issues years ago so I had to learn a lot for myself during that time. I was working for International Beers Unlimited selling premium craft beer. They just sold the company so I am out a job as of May 31st and decided to give this a chance. *I have one accident on my driving record (pretty good for being a sales rep for all of Missouri. A car was parked illegally because they ran out of gas before making it in their driveway and I did not see it as I turned the corner... Hit the back end trying to miss it. Was my fault due to a "parked car is never wrong". **I do NOT TEXT AND DRIVE. I worked on a campaign in college for AT&T to help promote " IT CAN WAIT".
