My name is Aaliyah, I am from Flora, MS. I have always had a deep love for children, which has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Since I was about nine years old, I knew I wanted to work with kids. This dedication has only grown stronger over the years. Currently, I am a senior at Alcorn State University majoring in Human Development and Family Science. My goal is to attend Louisiana State University to pursue a Master's in Social Work. I am committed to making a positive impact in children's lives and advocating for their well-being. I worked at First Ridgeland Daycare from the spring of 2021 until the fall of 2023, where I gained invaluable experience in childcare. This has helped me develop a strong understanding of children's needs and behaviors. My coursework in Human Development and Family Science has equipped me with a solid understanding of child psychology and development stages. I am certified in First Aid and CPR but it has been a while so I will probably have to get a recertification!
