I love being a sitter because I enjoy working with children and being a positive, caring presence in their lives. I find joy in helping kids feel safe, supported, and comfortable while also having fun and learning. Being able to build trust with both children and parents is something I truly value. I have experience working with young children, including teaching kindergarten through a youth teaching program from junior to senior year of high school. I’ve also cared for children in church and community settings, which has helped me understand different personalities, routines, and age-specific needs. I have strong communication and patience skills, and I’m experienced in managing classroom-style behavior, creating structured routines, and keeping children engaged in age-appropriate activities. My background in early childhood settings has helped me develop skills in safety awareness, responsibility, and positive behavior guidance.
