My name is Karson Magee and I am currently a senior at Alcorn state university and I am 21 years old. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I’ve always had a passion for working with kids. Ever since I was younger, I’ve enjoyed being around children and helping them learn and grow. Being able to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them is something that really means a lot to me. What experience do you have? I started watching kids when I was in 8th grade, especially because I had foster siblings and helped care for them regularly. From there, I also babysat for kids around my neighborhood. Over time, I’ve worked at different summer camps and daycares, which gave me even more hands-on experience with children of different ages. What skills and training do you have? I’m CPR trained and Read more have experience with a variety of childcare skills, including potty training, teaching basic reading and writing, and keeping kids engaged in fun and educational activities. I’m also patient, responsible, and good at creating routines that help kids feel comfortable and secure.
