Hey! My name is Timber Ann Jefcoat! I am an incoming freshman at MSU and am from McComb, MS. I have lots of experience with special needs. The past 2 summers I have worked at a weeklong camp for handicap and special needs of all ages with all different disabilities. This past summer I was a counselor for a 65 year old woman with cerebral palsy during the first session. During the second session I was a counselor for a nine year old boy with Down syndrome. I have also volunteered with Miracle League which is a baseball league for special needs. Needless to say I have lots of experience with special needs, and it is something I am very passionate about. I plan on volunteering at the T.K. Martin Center here in Starkville, and I plan on going into occupational therapy specializing in pediatrics for kids with special needs.
